Hey bryan, what kind of muffler delete set up you had on your car? Pipe size, exhaust tips, etc.. Is there a bolt on that can be bought? I was watching a few delete videos in you tube and yours seems to have the most solid sound =)
Would you still recommend it? Pro’s and Con’s
Im trying to avoid spending 5g’s on an exhaust. Plus it already sounds great that way.
I apologize for the long delay. My setup (i’m assuming you’re talking about my video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqGMNXjAGDo) is just 2.5″ pipes in place of the mufflers. I left all primary and secondary cats in place. I love hte sound, it doesn’t drone very much at all in the cabin and if you like the way it sounds, i’d say go for it! I think i got it done for around $300ish, most of which were the tips @ about ~$100 each.
As for the tips, I don’t remember which manufacturer they were exactly, but they were angled rolled edge SS tips — I know Corsa, Magnaflow and Dynomax all make really nice ones, and mine are similar to this: http://www.jegs.com/i/Flowmaster/389/15390/10002/-1?parentProductId=
